Bromonitrol is primarily used as a raw material for preservatives and biocides. Its formulated products find applications in industrial circulating water systems, paper pulp production, coatings, plastics, cosmetics, daily chemical products, wood treatment, cooling water circulation systems, and various industrial settings where bactericidal, antifungal, anti-corrosive, and algicidal effects are required. It can also be added during the processing of detergents, fabric treatments, shampoos, conditioners, and creams. As a bactericide, it effectively controls and prevents a wide range of plant-pathogenic bacteria.
